Thanks to the many corporate events that took place online between 2020 and 2021, I now have the experience and equipment to perform live music for online events, whether via Zoom or other video conferencing platforms.
This allows me to bring a touch of warmth and emotion through music to an event that can often feel a bit cold behind a screen.
Weddings
I am a true romantic and I love being part of a couple’s big day, whether it’s singing during the ceremony, as they are walking down the aisle, or during the cocktail reception while the married couple welcome their guests in a relaxed and/or elegant atmosphere.
Several months in advance, I have an informal chat with the couple in order to make song choices. I might even learn a song that means a lot to them, making a bespoke setlist for their magical day. Most of my covers are love songs full of emotions, so it won’t be hard to create a playlist that will move all the guests.
Private Event
A birthday, a special occasion, a personal surprise or an intimate evening are among my favourite performances, as they allow me to connect with people, to share my emotions with them through my songs and make the experience even more personal and special.
Just like I do with weddings, we go through my repertoire for a tailor-made setlist ; I might also suggest offer a ‘live jukebox’ set where the audience can decide what I’ll be singing next from a list of songs (usually well-known covers) while I’m performing.
Corporate Event
A new product launch, a corporate Christmas party, an end-of-year celebration or even an awards ceremony, all occasions are valid to have some live music at your corporate event!
I could be playing during an informal cocktail reception or a formal sit-down dinner, or at a very specific moment of the event before or after a speech for example. This adds an extra special touch to the event and usually gets great engagement from attendees.
Background music for restaurants, bars & hotels
The choice of repertoire is decided in advance to best suit the venue and its audience.
For example, when performing background music in a chic restaurant, I’ll select a setlist with calm and subtle covers while guests are dining.
The idea is to add a touch of elegant emotion to an already pleasant atmosphere — guests are always delighted!
Artistic Performance
Original compositions
As a singer-songwriter, I love sharing my own music and introducing it to new audiences.
Whether I’m performing on a small cabaret-style stage or on a larger stage in front of a big audience, it is always a concert experience, which requires a specific format.
In this case, I interact with the audience, explain my songwriting process as well as the emotions behind the songs, and perform my own music to convey those emotions.
Backing vocals for duo or band
I love singing harmonies… so whether it’s for a few songs or an entire show, I would be delighted to get on stage and support the lead vocalist.
My experience across various musical genres allows me to adapt easily. I enjoy learning new songs and adding my own touch of emotion to each performance.
