Biography

Adeline is a French singer/songwriter with a British soul, now living and performing in Barcelona after having lived and started playing music in the UK (Hastings) for over 10 years.

After playing in a band (Adeline & The Others) and writing songs on her own, Adeline independently released (in 2003) an album of original songs written in both French and English. The album, entitled “Promesses” (French for ‘promises’) has sold well around the UK and in parts of France. She even played the London Astoria for a charity gig.
In 2004 a new beginning was marked by Adeline’s decision to play on her own in order to promote herself and the album. She then played solo in venues throughout the South East of England (Hastings, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, etc.), performing original songs as well as covers.
At the beginning of 2012 Adeline moved to Spain (Barcelona) for a fresh start. She has been playing in venues around the city ever since (Columbos, Obama, Bar Pastis, Michael Collins, Malverde, Cheers, l’Astrolabi, London Bar…)

Adeline’s music, acoustic rock/pop in French & English, is often described as a cross between Tracy Chapman and Alanis Morissette and appeals to a very wide audience.
Adeline is always looking to perform all around Europe but firstly in Barcelona, in either small or larger venues, in order to build public awareness. Once heard, never forgotten, soon the name “Adeline” will be on everyone’s lips.
